Bea started appearing as part of the cast on Irish or British television programs in 2009, started her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing in sitcoms and sketch comedy. In 2012, after winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began being booked frequently for various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea was given to her in memory of her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died by suicide when she was just three years old. But, she didn't discover the reason of her death until thirteen years later. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by races as well as horses. Bea was a guide at her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young teens. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to do as a profession and preferred doing.
